Reading: Proverbs 3:5-7

Devotional:
We live in a culture that celebrates self-reliance and personal knowledge. Yet God calls us to something counter-cultural: complete trust in His understanding rather than our own. This means when Scripture contradicts our feelings, God is right and we are wrong. When His ways don't make sense to our limited perspective, we trust anyway. Think about areas where you've been "hunting" for alternative interpretations because you don't like what God's Word clearly says. Perhaps it's about forgiveness, sexuality, generosity, or relationships. Stop leaning on your own understanding. God's wisdom has stood for thousands of years; your reasoning is finite and flawed. Today, identify one area where you've been trusting yourself more than God, and surrender it completely to His wisdom.
